SENCo

SEND COORDINATOR (SENCo)

MPS/UPS + TLR 1b (£9,378)

                                                              September 2017

Did you come into teaching in order to give young people the start they need to lead great lives? Do you want to work in a school where you can make your ambition for young people and yourself a reality? Then this is the job for you!

We are looking to appoint an outstanding SENCo to lead the further development of our Special Educational Needs and Disability (SEND) provision and remove any barriers to success for all our SEND students.  We are looking for an individual who has successfully completed SENCo training or will undertake the necessary qualification.  You will work closely with a supportive Leadership team at the College. You will also develop your skills across our Trust, Education South West, our Teaching School Alliance and Research School. As a result, you will gain the experience you need for further promotion.

We have an open leadership style that places action driven by our values at the centre of all we do and want you to contribute to leadership of our whole college and Alliance. We are the provider of NCTL Headship and Leadership programmes in the South West, so you can be certain of unparalleled personal professional development.  The Executive Principal is the CEO of Education South West and Chair of the National College for Teaching and Learning, so you are joining a school at the forefront of the school-led system.

If you are the kind of person who strives for excellence, and likes to do things well, who wants lots of opportunities to develop your own practice and try new things – then this is the place for you.  Be prepared to have a lot of fun along the way!

We are committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
