To prepare

• All year 9 students have a revision guide. If you have not received one, please come to the Science Office to get one
• Over the Easter Holidays ’10 for 10’ activities are being posted home. These are 10 minute revision activities for 10 days over Easter
• Be sure you have the correct equipment for the exam
  • Blue/Black pens (Have at least one spare!)
  • Pencils
  • Pencil Eraser
  • Ruler
  • Calculator
  • Pencil Sharpener
• Have these in a see-through bag or pencil case!

Revision Tips

• Every time you have a Science lesson, go home and do 10mins revision based on that lesson,
• Make flash cards, mind maps, notes, poster or draw diagrams to help you learn the key concepts. Everyone is different, be sure you use the method you are happiest with!
• Use Achieve to test your knowledge, ask your teacher to set Achieve assessments for you. Read the targets to help you improve and move on to the next level.
• Be sure to attempt the 10 for 10 activities over the Easter Holiday, ask someone at home to mark it for you,
• Remember to use the revision guide to help, you need to know your Year 7 and 8 work too!
