Artsmark Gold Award

Kingsbridge Community College has been awarded the prestigous Artsmark Gold award by the Arts Council.

The Award follows a rigorous assessment process that looked at the quality of Arts education in the curriculum and also the range of Arts activities outside of the curriculum.

The College stages eight productions each year along with at least four concerts and other dance performances. The College was designated a High Performing Specialist School in view of its excellent exam results and offered a second specialism in the Arts in 2007. The College is staging an innovative Arts Fiesta on the evening of Tuesday, 1st July, where performers will be staging events across the Arts outside in the College grounds and a Photography Exhibition in the new Sixth Form building during the same week. The annual Art Exhibition will also take place in the College all day on 9th July.
