One of the most exciting weeks in the school calendar is 'Challenge Week'.
Your learning in lessons in College is important, but Challenge Week gives you the opportunity to put that learning into action in the wider world.
This is a week when you have the chance to grow. You can challenge yourself against the opportunities available and aspire to try things you have never tried before, from activities on your doorstep to those that take place across the world – Challenge Week is truly global in its reach.
This is your chance to meet new people, cope in situations that you have never faced before
and to come back having learned new things about others and yourself.

Challenge Week Residential
This booklet is intended to give you a brief summary of the residential courses available to your son/daughter during challenge Week 2011, which takes place during the week of 18th to 21st July 2011. The Recent Special Edition of the Challenge Week Term Talk magazine highlighted some of the fantastic activities which took place last year.

Challenge Week Daily
In addition to the residential courses outlined in this booklet, there will be a wide range of
activities for students to choose from on a daily basis and also mini residentials of one or two
nights away during Challenge Week. These activities will range from those organised within
the College itself and further afield. A detailed booklet containing all the options available will
be published in the Spring Term.
