SCIENCE WEEK

Maths and Science go to Hollywood
A glamorous, glitzy evening to remember!  Tuesday 16th March 2010 6.30 – 9.00pm

Next week is Science Week 2010 and we are holding our own Oscar ceremony to celebrate Science and Maths at Kingsbridge Community College! Come along on the evening of Tuesday 16th March and join in the glitzy, glamorous proceedings. Over the past months we have been running a Science and Maths film competition for students and the very best of these will be receiving their Oscars. The highlight of the evening will be a talk by local scientist and historian Adam Hart-Davis who will be carrying out some experiments. The evening also features I’m a Celebrity ....Get Me Out of here with our own Ant and Dec along with animals from Really Wild Enterprises. The evening would not be complete without dancing including a Strictly Come dancing routine, our own Dr Pemberton with some impossible science film effects and a Science and Maths film competition.

The evening is free but starts with a Hot Buffet Supper that costs £5 with all proceeds to Adumasa.

Tickets £5 from Reception at KCC  (01548 852641)
