A new academic year brings a new start for everyone and for most of the Year 8 students, a new tutor, too. 

This week KCC students have taken part in a team building trip at Blackpool Sands.  Each day one Year 8 tutor group set off with their tutor to take part in team building activities which included bushcraft, raft building and culminated in competition time with the archery challenge.  Each
student fired three arrows and competed for the best scores.

The winning Year 8 tutor was Mr Crocker with a magnificent score of 25 narrowing beating Head of Year, Mr Bindon by one point!

Mr Bindon, Head of Year, said: “All of students were a credit to the College in their time away from the classrooms. They gained some valuable key skills to help them build on what has been a great start to Year 8. Well done to them all”.
