SUCCESSTRACKER
Following our consultation last year, we are introducing our new monitoring and reporting scheme this year called ‘SuccessTracker’. You will receive a half-termly report that tracks your son or daughter’s success against their targets.
You will also be able to access this information on-line.
SuccessTracker 1 for the Autumn Term will be published for all years on Wednesday 21st October 2009.
SuccessTracker 2 for the Autumn Term will be published on Wednesday 16th December 2009.
SuccessTracker 3 for the Spring 2010 Term will be published on Wednesday 10th February 2010
SuccessTracker 4 for the Spring 2010 Term will be published on Wednesday 31st March 2010
You can access your child’s attendance and progress records, together with ensuring that key information retained by the school (e.g. contact details) is correct. You will also be able to see what lessons your child has everyday in their online timetable.
You will need to be allocated a username and a password for access to the records, this can be obtained by requesting a form in person from our reception desk.
If you have an account you can log on here - Link to SUCCESSTRACKER (opens a new window)
Following advice from BECTA we would draw your attention to these points |
| • |
Only Parents or Carers with ‘parental control’ for a particular child are entitled to an ‘e-portal’ account for that child’s data. Parents without parental control are not allowed accounts and are not receiving this e-mail. |
| • |
Only you (as the Parent of a Child), your child and authorised school staff can access data about your child. A Parent or Carer cannot see any contact information (e.g. home address, phone number, e-mail addresses etc) about another Parent or Carer or any child. |
| • |
Your data and that of all children is managed by the school and is held securely on servers at your child’s school. We take the security of this data very seriously and all sensible measures have been taken to safeguard this information. |
| • |
When you connect to e-portal, data is transmitted across the Internet securely using security encryption. |
| |
Please ensure that you keep your user name and password safe. |
