Statement about Biology

• Biology is a very useful subject to have and is a popular choice along with the traditional subjects of Chemistry and Physics, but is also popular for those wishing to continue with a science, and is often taken with Arts and Humanities subjects.

• Biology is one of the broadest subject areas ranging from sub-cellular to whole organisms and environments.

• Biology knowledge is increasing at an alarming rate. New techniques such as genetic modification and stem cell technology give us new tools for understanding how life works and new possibilities for the future.
