Geography Statement
The study of Geography helps pupils make sense of their physical and human surroundings and extend their knowledge and understanding to more distant places. It provides a framework in which students can place local, national and international events and enable them to function more effectively as individuals and members of society.
Geography is a valuable medium in which students can develop attitudes and values towards local, regional, national and international issues. It also develops a varied range of useful and transferable skills still relevant in today’s rapidly changing world.
Geography at Kingsbridge Community College is a popular option for students at GCSE and A-Level. The excellent team of dynamic teachers inspire their students and work hard to produce consistently excellent results at all levels.
