India - Land of Extremes
What a spectacular College trip! For those of us who went to India, it proved just that.
Our destination was Northern India and our ports of call included New Delhi, Jaipur, Agra, Matura, Varanasi, Mussoirie and Haridwar. What struck me on the second day (thanks to our guide Lee) was the Indian attitude toward life which may be put thus: ‘Chill!’.
The group got on really well, and I’m glad I got to meet people I otherwise wouldn’t have. The many rickshaw rides we went on were an eye opener and the many temples we visited were warm and welcoming. India proved itself the land of extremes with regards to its food, climate, deities, architecture and ways of religious worship. India is an experience that can’t properly be talked about but felt. I would definitely recommend it.
Thanks again to Mr Jamison and our guide Lee who was as much as friend as a awesome guide.
