Friends of KCC / PTFA
Friends of Kingsbridge Community College is a community of parents and carers, alumni, local businesses and the wider community, brought together by shared values: people who care about the education, opportunities and enrichment for the students at Kingsbridge Community College (KCC).
No two students are the same. Each have their own personalities, learning style, ambitions, hobbies, challenges and needs from the college. We feel this diversity is what makes KCC such a vibrant community – but it also brings challenges. Like many schools nationally, KCC is affected by ongoing pressures on education funding. This can create difficult choices between delivering targeted academic support and interventions and providing wider enrichment opportunities for all students.
This is where Friends of KCC can make a real difference, and it’s not just about raising funds.
We believe the college is an essential asset in our community and investing – whether through time, expertise, funding or support – in young people is one of the most important things we can do, not only for students today, but for the long-term strength of our community.
We are a charity (charity number 275587) established to support the college in expanding its offer and helping turn its aspirations into reality. By working together with the Kingsbridge Community College Trust, parents and carers, alumni, local businesses, and the wider community, we aim to enhance opportunities, reduce barriers, and enrich the experience of every student at Kingsbridge Community College — both inside and beyond the classroom.

Ways you can support:
BE A CATALYST
Make a donation
Help us do more for our young people and fill our fundraising pots. Every donation, big or small, makes a difference – whether it’s a one-off gift or a regular contribution. If every family were able to donate £5 per term, then that alone would raise at least £10000 per year.
If you are a UK taxpayer, you can also boost your donation through Gift Aid at no extra cost to you.
Make a donation via Give A Little.
Sign-up to Easy Fundraising
Help raise funds without spending anything extra by signing up to Easy Fundraising. Every time you shop with one of the 8,000+ retailers partnered with Easy Fundraising, they make a donation to KCC at no extra cost to you. It really is that easy — and every purchase can make a huge difference.
Business membership and sponsorship
The generosity of local businesses help us provide opportunities, resources, and experiences that make a lasting difference to students’ lives. If you’re business we’d love to talk to you about membership and sponsorship opportunities.

MAKE AN IMPACT IN OUR COMMUNITY
We’re building a community that supports, advocates and celebrates students, now and beyond their time at KCC. As well as raising much-needed funds that improve our college, the social events we run bring the whole community together, and links with teachers help to give all parents a say in their child’s education.
We are extremely grateful for any time or contribution you can give.
