RSHE Consultation and Survey

3rd October 2022

At Kingsbridge Community College we are committed to providing young people with the advice and guidance that they need to be able to successfully navigate some of the challenges and opportunities of the world around them. It is a statutory requirement that Relationships, Health and Sex Education (RSHE) must be taught in schools.

Schools have flexibility over how compulsory content is taught but the statutory content gives clarity and level of depth with regards to what must be covered in the curriculum. On our website, under ‘Latest News’ you’ll find the full details of what schools must teach for both RSE and Health Education, and a copy of our updated RSHE policy.

We would like to invite you to take part in our annual RSHE consultation. We continuously strive to develop and review our PSHE provision at KCC to ensure that we deliver comprehensive, world class PSHE. We consult with students and staff throughout the year. Please follow the link to the online survey, if you would like the opportunity to share your views on our Relationships, Health and Sex Education Curriculum.  The deadline for submission of the form is the 14/10/22.
